We received an e-mail recently from an client who has used our photography services multiple times thanking us for the, in his words, "beautiful pictures." In the e-mail, he stated his gratitude for our excellent service and attentiveness to details and then went on to say that he looked forward to filling his home with the many beautiful photos that we took.
This got me thinking about how many of our photos might fill up people's lives on a daily basis. We have done over 200 jobs, including private parties, wedding, mitzvahs, corporate events, graduations, photography sessions and much more. Most of our jobs have been events with unlimited onsite printing, which means we printed A LOT of photos. Photos of brides and groom covered in joys of "just married", pictures of best friends who are going off to different schools, family members who don't get to see each other often enough but got together for a special event. The possibilities are almost too many to imagine. But one thing is for sure, those photos capture a very joyous and memorable moment. I began to imagine the countless number of pictures that must fill cubicles, lockers, school folders and even refrigerators. I thought of all the pictures that might hang in a living room, company slide show or even cover a young girl's mirror in her room. All of the pictures that have been posted to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and all the countless photos that have been e-mailed to distant relatives who couldn't make it but were there in spirit. All the photos taken at our green screen station for a company party or at a step & repeat for a high school graduation or college reunion that can become a part of a person's life by seeing them day in and day out to remind them of a sweet moment in life. All of these thoughts made me take a step back and appreciate what we do just a little bit more. Green Screen Miami looks forward to capturing countless more memories and we hope to be a big part of your next event.
