We here at Green Screen Miami have you in mind after the impact of Hurricane Irma. We feel very blessed that most of South Florida was not directly hit by the worst parts of this monstrous storm though many of our areas in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties were still affected with property damage, vehicle damage, power outages, road blockages, flooding and more.

Our thoughts are with you and your loved ones as well as the millions still without power, shelter, food and fuel and especially those who were directly hit by Irma. Our neighboring cities and counties to the South, West and North were hit by devastating winds, rains and surges including mass power outages and even damage or loss of property. We as Floridians must unite and lend each other a helping hand in this time of tragedy.

As we here in South Florida and the rest of the state work to get back to normalcy, we understand that these things take time, resources and hard work. We will be volunteering with as much hands-on as possible but understand that not everything can be done by hand.

Starting today, we will be donating 10% of every new booking that we receive to the Red Cross until October 31st.

We understand that partying may be the furthest thing from every ones' mind at the moment but, at Green Screen Miami, we truly care about the fun and festive way of life that South Florida is so well known for and we hope to restore it one photo booth at a time.

We recently had the pleasure of working with one of our oldest and favorite clients, Celebrity Cruises, for an amazing event at the Palm Beach Zoo. We had never been to the Palm Beach Zoo, so this was a fun experience and special treat for me and my staff. It is a beautiful place with lots to see and more to experience. We offered roaming event photography and a Step & Repeat Photo Station with instant onsite printing and social media integration. Celebrity provided the entertainment and, as always, it was spectacular!

As Guests arrived, the were stunned by gorgeous views and incredible acrobatics as they walked to the photo station where they had a chance to take photos with Wilbur the Sloth in front of the Celebrity Cruises Step & Repeat.

Guests loved receiving their photos as a 4x6 print and digitally via their favorite social media site, email or SMS text. They also enjoyed the delicious appetizers and refreshing drinks as they explored the beautiful zoo grounds and learned interesting trivial about its inhabiting animals.

At Green Screen Miami, one thing we love to see is creativity and originality... especially when it comes to weddings and green screens. Yet, when David and Cara contacted us with a vision and an idea for their creative "Save the Dates," i was a little reluctant to book the gig or even offer our services. They called in the midst of the craziness of our spring busy. A season that is filled with Trade Shows, Conventions, Wedding, Bar Mitzvahs, Grad Parties and non-stop events. Our primary services, after all, are Photo booths, GIF Booths and Green Screen Photo Stations for events, not necessarily for private photo shoots. 

Regardless, I took the call and spoke to the young, recently engaged couple with a flurry of ideas. The concepts they actually sounded cool and creative... and right up my alley; they wanted to recreate iconic movie and video game covers. This sounded fun and challenging and with our busy season approaching its end, it sounded like something that I could take on in the right time. We spoke and discussed dates and since they had no immediate rush, we schedule for the first weeks after the craziness.  

These are the movie and game covers they wanted to recreate and they wanted to add a Western Movie-Themed Save the Date that combined the cool swag of Will Smith in Wild Wild West with the grit of Clint Eastwood in his timeless western classics. We tried a few shots and poses on the green screen for each of the covers and then went to them to decide the best options and the best looking shots. 

Once the photo shoot was done, I was eager to get to work. My mind was racing with ideas on how to work on the photos and background artwork. How to process the images to get exactly what we had in mind. David and Cara were a huge help with tons of ideas and a great creative edge. Their initial ideas and wonderful prop selection help set the tone and make my work that much easier. For the next few days, we bounced emails back and forth with suggestions and mocks to make sure we got it down to the T, including the Out Run cover which was not a green screen but just a re-imagining done on Photoshop.

I am very glad that I decided to take on the challenge as I had a great time working on these images and love the end result. David and Cara were some of the best clients I have ever worked with and I wish them both the best of luck as they begin the rest of their lives together.

We received an e-mail recently from an client who has used our photography services multiple times thanking us for the, in his words, "beautiful pictures." In the e-mail, he stated his gratitude for our excellent service and attentiveness to details and then went on to say that he looked forward to filling his home with the many beautiful photos that we took.

This got me thinking about how many of our photos might fill up people's lives on a daily basis. We have done over 200 jobs, including private parties, wedding, mitzvahs, corporate events, graduations, photography sessions and much more. Most of our jobs have been events with unlimited onsite printing, which means we printed A LOT of photos. Photos of brides and groom covered in joys of "just married", pictures of best friends who are going off to different schools, family members who don't get to see each other often enough but got together for a special event. The possibilities are almost too many to imagine. But one thing is for sure, those photos capture a very joyous and memorable moment.
