At Green Screen Miami, one thing we love to see is creativity and originality... especially when it comes to weddings and green screens. Yet, when David and Cara contacted us with a vision and an idea for their creative "Save the Dates," i was a little reluctant to book the gig or even offer our services. They called in the midst of the craziness of our spring busy. A season that is filled with Trade Shows, Conventions, Wedding, Bar Mitzvahs, Grad Parties and non-stop events. Our primary services, after all, are Photo booths, GIF Booths and Green Screen Photo Stations for events, not necessarily for private photo shoots. 

Regardless, I took the call and spoke to the young, recently engaged couple with a flurry of ideas. The concepts they actually sounded cool and creative... and right up my alley; they wanted to recreate iconic movie and video game covers. This sounded fun and challenging and with our busy season approaching its end, it sounded like something that I could take on in the right time. We spoke and discussed dates and since they had no immediate rush, we schedule for the first weeks after the craziness.  

These are the movie and game covers they wanted to recreate and they wanted to add a Western Movie-Themed Save the Date that combined the cool swag of Will Smith in Wild Wild West with the grit of Clint Eastwood in his timeless western classics. We tried a few shots and poses on the green screen for each of the covers and then went to them to decide the best options and the best looking shots. 

Once the photo shoot was done, I was eager to get to work. My mind was racing with ideas on how to work on the photos and background artwork. How to process the images to get exactly what we had in mind. David and Cara were a huge help with tons of ideas and a great creative edge. Their initial ideas and wonderful prop selection help set the tone and make my work that much easier. For the next few days, we bounced emails back and forth with suggestions and mocks to make sure we got it down to the T, including the Out Run cover which was not a green screen but just a re-imagining done on Photoshop.

I am very glad that I decided to take on the challenge as I had a great time working on these images and love the end result. David and Cara were some of the best clients I have ever worked with and I wish them both the best of luck as they begin the rest of their lives together.

We had the pleasure of working another wonderful event for GUESS at their Lincoln Road location in Miami Beach, FL where we provide a social photo booth with live SMS photo texting and emails. VIP guests got an opportunity to take pictures with and get autographs from Social Media Celebrity Team Devin Brugman and Natasha Oakley. The Guests had a chance to their picture using our latest addition to the Photo Booth family, the GLOPOD. Once, they took their picture with the famous duo of Tash & Dev, they were giving the opportunity to share them to their email or text message.

Besides our beautiful and fun photo booth, we also had a roaming event photographer capturing all of the great giveaways and amazing moments going on throughout the event such as the delicious food and drinks catered by Eggwhites Catering. Guests also had the chance to receive a custom embroided Turkish towel with their name and great music from an amazing DJ. And of course, everyone had the opportunity to go through the incredible GUESS collection of clothing, swimwear, shoes and much more.

We are very happy to have been a part of such a wonderful event and glad that everyone loved the Photo Booth as well as event photography, food, drinks, music and, of course, Tash and Dev! 

We love to work at charity events and galas because the vibe and energy is always one of kindness and genuine caring. And we had a great time at these two events, The 50 Shades of Pink event in Aventura, FL and The Pink Gala 2016 in Pembroke Pines, FL. We had the privilege of meeting some very caring and charitable people as well as several Breast Cancer survivors, which just give off inspiration. These brave faces give hope to the rest of us that, as long as we fight and keep going, there is always something good waiting for you tomorrow.

At the Aventura Event, They enjoyed the inflatable photo booth, or as they called it, the "Bubble Photo Booth" and took pictures with instant onsite printing and photo texting. They shared smiles and Pink Masquerades as they had a great time showing our their pictures and texting them from our photo booth.

In Pembroke Pines, the fun was in the air as they chose our Black Sequin Backdrop with the open-air photo booth for their Pink Gala. This is our 4th consecutive year working with the Pink Gala (same host of the Red Gala for the American Heart Association)

Green Screen Miami had the honor of working side-by-side with JP Sports + Entertainment and the Loews Hotel in Miami Beach, FL to provide our Green Screen Photography services for the Ray Allen Celebrity Golf Tournament 2016. We took photos of the tournament attendees and celebrities alike. It was a star-studded with the likes of NFL Legend Marcus Allen, Miami Heat heroes Alonzo Mourning and Ray Allen, baseball star Mike Piazza as well and current and retired Miami Dolphins stars.
 
Guests got to enjoy our Social Media integration station as well as our instant onsite printing, this time with 8x10 prints, which were placed in a frame for their keepsake.

Green Screen Miami was hired to provides an 80's themed green screen photo booth for the Realtime summit. The props were fun and playful; the backgrounds were bright and vibrant and the party was jumping like a John Hughes movie.

Last week we had Hurricane Matthew threaten to hit South Florida. Luckily, it missed us almost entirely and brought minimal damage and rain but the threat alone forced a lot of unforeseen changes in our schedule. We had 5 events for last week for photo booths and green screen rentals, but of those 5, only 2 events were able to proceed.

We had a green screen photo booth for a corporate function at a hospital on the day before the storms predicted arrival, which was forced to be rescheduled for this week due to the hurricane preparedness tasks that the hospital had to undergo. We also had one event for Friday and which was postponed because of the amount of guests missing because of closed airports and delayed or cancelled flights. Of the 2 photo booths for Saturday, only one was still done as scheduled. The other photo booth rental was rescheduled for this week, which was already pretty busy along with the green screen rental for the hospital.

So our week went from having 5 events to now having seven events which need a photo booth or green screen rental in Miami. Luckily, we are prepared, equipped, eager and ready for the challenge.
